Once the grass is nice and thick, it’s difficult for the weeds to grow in.

3. Mow often enough that you’re only cutting a third of the grass height. A common mistake with lawn care service is waiting too long to mow. Cutting more than a third of grass blades can be harmful to your lawn. Overwatering, waiting too long to mow and the weather are some factors causing the lawn to become overgrown. The mower height should be adjusted accordingly. In addition, the timing of the cut matters. The lawn should be cut at least once a week during the growing season.
